Pellet Grills

Pellet grills are one of the easiest-to-use outdoor cooking tools in the business. But they aren’t without need of cleaning and repair. Who would have thought that grills would have so many moving pieces and electrical components?

I get how it is. It can be hard to want to spend the time cleaning out your pellet grill. You put it off for weeks, sometimes months, and the next thing you know, you get a ‘failure to ignite’ error because your pellet grill is too full of ash.

Maybe cleaning the grill just isn’t your thing. That’s where I step in. I can take care of that deep clean so your grill is ready for the next cook.

On top of everything, your grease tray or drip tray doesn’t always catch everything. Too many fires have happened from excess greases pooling up in the bottom of pellet grills. Don’t fall victim to a tragic grease fire.

What Does a Grill Cleaning Consist Of?

Interior Wipe-Down

I’ll start by scraping away all those nasty built-up bits of food, carbon, grease, and ashes. I’ll follow that with a thorough wipe-down with a plant-based cleaner and degreaser. Everything is vacuumed up and disposed of, leaving your grill free of those nasty, bitter, burnt tidbits from all those years of pool parties and cookouts.

Exterior Wipe-Down

Chances are, you’ve got grease, and grime built up all over the exterior of your grill. Lack of cleanliness can result in a shorter life for your grill. Rust will form, paint will flake, and plastic will fade. Using a safe cleaner, I’ll get things shining as much as possible. Obviously some wear is permanent, but I’ll make sure it’s clean.

Tighten & Test

Screws loosen, and bolts wiggle free with time. As I’m performing a cleaning, I’ll keep an eye out for loose screws and bolts, and tighten anything that I can. When I’m done with the cleaning, I’ll make sure to fire the grill up for a few minutes to make sure things are running great.

Upgrade & Repair Audit

Naturally, your grill is going to go through some stuff over the years. High heat, grease, salt, and extreme weather can do a number on your grill. As I’m doing the cleaning, I’ll take note of any recommendations I have for repairs or upgrades so you can decide what is best for your grill’s future.
